Description:At this time, a Sales Analyst is needed for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales data to increase overall sales productivity and maximize decision-making efficiencies. The Analyst will maintain the usability and accuracy of multiple data sources through the creation, adaptation, and update of custom data. Reports and analyses should be prepared with recommendations for the requestor and in some cases, the Analyst will be expected to act on his/her own.
Work with (BDC) to research, formulate, design, and execute adjacent market opportunities. These opportunities could be in markets outside the traditional auto reinsurance F&I space the company is in today. The Analyst will work closely with the Director of Sales Support in all aspects of this endeavor.
This HYBRID (office/home) role will require travel to our Lake Forest, CA office. Applicants should reside in the area for commuting purposes.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, Standard business hours
Compensation: $68,000.00k - $77,000.00k per year. Depending on Experience. Exceptional Benefits!
Essential Functions:

  • Track and update quarterly Diminishing Production and dealership Stopped Writing reports. Research the causes and outcomes with the assistance of MDs. Send reports to Sales Management Team.
  • Weekly Production Report. Update and track production, sign-ups, and deal sources. Review with the Sales management team weekly.
  • Track and update sales leaders & agency production reports vs. annual forecasts. Utilize reports to determine baselines for measurement of growth by the agency and Managing Director. Send reports to the Sales management team and MDs quarterly.
  • Apply metrics to sales data and track sales cycles based on geographic, product, agency, and other sales criteria.
  • Create methodology, program, and/or modify, and maintain updated statistical data from multiple systems. Track Portfolio vs Industry metrics quarterly and annually for use in executive sales meetings, presentations, and marketing.
  • Create various ad-hoc reports which assist the management team in making more informed company decisions, including production assessments for setting annual sales budget.
  • Utilize all resources available including the internal “Vander” database and “Cube” reporting tool for analysis and interpretation. Be a source of knowledge to sales or other related departments as needed for anything related to these proprietary Portfolio tools in tracking production and analyzing data statistics and trends.
  • Assist the Director of Sales Support with certain tasks and requests as necessary. Being a team player and being willing to aid when called upon.

Requirements:Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Vision acuity is required to include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to grasp objects such a telephone or computer mouse, finger dexterity to use a keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to hear and talk, both in person and by phone.
  • Ability to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Finance or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar or related function

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Technical knowledge of Excel advanced programming, pivot tables, writing and running routine queries in MS SQL, and creation of end user reporting tools.
